I keep periodically receiving calls from KeyBank (who my student loan is through) saying that I haven't made a payment. I think a month ago we were looking at 60-90 days past due.


Heh.

Here's the kicker. Ready? Okay!

KeyBank uses ACS for payment processing. We've been receiving statements from ACS and thusly paying them (we were directed to do so.) Payments have been clearing our bank.


SO.

WTF. My credit sucks from the whole house fiasco (thanks a lot to the man who impregnated the woman who gave birth to me); now it's even more jacked up because key bank and acs can't get their shit together.



Fuck.

Regardless of the outcome of this election, the man elected (whether we want him there or not) will be our president and will need our support.


I'm trying to be mindful of this as I watch the election coverage. I hate the presidential elections because it's a big gamble. What if the guy we elect ends up being a douche? Bah. I mean, I don't think so in this instance-- but you just never know.

I'm not going to vote. It doesn't matter anyway.

EDIT: I can't deal with politics. At all. Maybe it was the environment I was raised in. Maybe it's genetics. It's stupid that it angers me. I'm ready for the election to be over. I will end up voting, even though it doesn't matter. I don't think we'll ever see a 3rd party in our system.

I picked up A Piece of Cake, a memoir by Cupcake Brown. Her story is amazing, to say the very least.

Had a pretty lovely weekend. Saturday was teh anniversary of my emerging from the womb with a lusty huzzah. That was celebrated by good friends over fish & chips. (Thank you to those who came!)

2 more days until I have to go back to work. 5 day weekends for the win.
